Developing your Art Practice
An introduction to contemporary art and finding ways to develop regular practice to bring your artwork over time to a level of exhibiting.
The course will explore different art materials, styles of painting & collage. At the first session there will be discussion on what you are interested in and how to get to where you want to be. A list of basic materials needed will be given at the first session. It is hoped this will become an ongoing group that develops into an inspiring space to develop your own style and exhibit your work.

"Creating artworks has always been the focus of my life. Within a Fine Arts degree course came the opportunity to experiment in many materials and mediums, and this has carried through into many of the jobs I have had: mould maker, florist, stained glass maker, photographer, ceramicist. My focus now is developing oil painting and ceramics, bringing different elements I have worked on over the years together. I see the making of art as a journey into the unknown, with the destination a mystery slowly unfolding".
